March 13th, 2002. Wednesday, fine
It's a nice day today. The sun is shinning warmly, the spring breeze is blowing gently, and the birds in the trees are singing happily. What a pleasant day! I feel so happy in such great weather.
Today, there was a football match be- tween class one and our class. Class one is famousastheFootballPioneer inour grade, but our class is also powerful. So this match could be a good chance to test each other's strength. The strength is not only strength of skills, but also strength of unity and cooperation. Our players weren't nervous at all. They thought it would turn out to be the best if they played the way they used to play. The game started. Our team played quite well, because all players were in high spirit. 45 minutes later, the game was over. The final score was 0:0. There must be a winner in a match, so free kicks were set to decide the winner.
At first, both teams successfully shot three spot kicks. So we were still neck and neck. Thanks to our goalkeeper, class one' s fourth spot kick didn't succeed. Therefore, we would win the match if another spot kick was shot by our team.At that time, all of my classmates were cheering for our team. We shot another spot kick!It was unbelievable! We won!We were so excited ! Suddenly, the referee announced that the spot kick we shot just now was invalid because he didn't blow the whistle. At that moment, all of us were very disappointed. Class one took advantage of this situation and began another fierce attack. Because of the pressure, our goalkeeper was a little nervous and therefore he failed the defense. Class one won at last. It was an unacceptable fact to us all. All of us were so depressed. Why couldn't we win the match as we were playing so well? When I calmed down and thought it over, I found the answer.Class one is really wonderful. They didn't even made a single mistake during the game. So class one is the real Football Pioneer, and the real winner.......
